Enrollment will be capped at 40 participants per time session.  All camps or clinics are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender) and discount is open to all participants who sign up for a month of skill instruction ONLY, per NCAA rules.  Players will be grouped by skill level

Regarded as one of the finest coaches on the West Coast, Rusty Filter enters his first year as the head coach of Santa Clara. During his almost three decades in coaching, Filter  has mentored 139 players who went on to have a career in professional baseball, 69 of which were pitchers.  He also has the distinction of being the only coach to have tutored a pair of pitchers (Stephen Strasburg and Mark Appel) who were the No. 1 overall pick in the MLB draft.

Spring Baseball Registration Now Open!

Register Now for 2018 Spring Baseball!

Welcome to registration for the 2018 Quito Little League Spring Season! We invite all children between the ages of 4 and 14 to join Quito Little League, regardless of past baseball experience. The Quito Little League experience not only provides our children with development in the sport of baseball, but lots of opportunities for fun and fitness, as well as teamwork, perseverance, integrity and sportsmanship. Registration closes on Feb. 1, 2018.

Step 1: Register for the Season

The first step in participating in the Quito Little League 2018 spring baseball season is completing the online registration process. With the objective of placing your child in the appropriate division, Quito has modified the registration process from being defined by division to being defined by your child's age as of Sep. 1. Fees are also defined by your child's birth date.

Start Your Registration!

Quito Boundary Area

Players must reside or attend school within the specified Quito Little League borders. View the Quito boundary map and verify your home or school is located within Quito's boundary.

Registration Fees

Fees do include your child's cap and jersey.

To help determine your child's little league age, you can use the little league age calculator.

  • 4-year-olds: $140
  • 5-year-olds: $165
  • 6-year-olds: $210
  • 7- to 8-year-olds: $240
  • 9- to 12-year-olds: $275
  • Juniors: $325
  • Challenger (ages 4-18): Free

Late Regsitrations: After Dec. 31, 2017

A late Fee of $50.00 will be assessed for those players that register after Dec. 31, 2017. Registration will close on Feb. 1, 2018.

Step 2: Verification Nights

Once the online registration is completed for each of your players, you must attend one of the verification nights. Verification Nights are scheduled to be held in the Rolling Hills Middle School multi-purpose room (1585 More Ave., Los Gatos) on the following days:

  • Tue., Dec. 5, 2017 from 6:30-9 p.m.
  • Thu., Dec. 14, 2017 from 6:30-9 p.m.

What to Bring to Verification

At the Verification Night, you will be asked to provide the following:

  1. An original copy of your child's birth certificate
  2. A completed Medical Release Form for each child being registered
  3. A completed 2018 Volunteer Application for each family being registered
  4. A completed Conscussion Parent & Athlete Information Sheet for each child being registered
  5. A copy of your driver's license
  6. 3 items providing proof of residency.
    • Examples of acceptable documentation include a property tax statement or utility bill.
  7. Payment, if payment was not processed online during the online registration process.

Step 3: Tryouts

The next step in preparing for the Quito Little League 2018 Spring Season is tryouts. Players aged 7 or older will be asked to attend a tryout, with the objective of ensuring that children are placed at the appropriate level and to ensure equal placement of skillset across the various teams. Tryouts will take place on Sun., Jan. 7, 2018 (7- through 10-year-olds),  Sat., Jan. 13, 2018 (7- through 10-year-olds) and Sun., Jan. 21, 2018 (11- through 12-year-olds). Your tryout time will be verified during live registration.

You will be notified regarding your team placement in early February 2018. Practices and volunteer trainings will run through the month of February, with Opening Day scheduled for Sat., March 3, 2018.

Additional League Information

Time Commitment by Division

With respect to time commitment, mini-t teams consolidate their practice and game on Saturdays. T-ball teams generally have one practice during the week, and a game on Saturday. For subsequent levels, the frequency of practices and games increase with each division. Challenger division will have warm-up and game on Sundays.

Volunteer Requirement

Quito Little League is a 100% volunteer based organization. Our wonderful community is what it is because of all those who volunteer their time to develop our league and your children. Each family registered with Quito Little League acknowledges that they will contribute their time to help both their individual teams, as well as the League. During the registration process, you will be given the opportunity to select how you would like to contribute your time. If you are unable to do so, you may select the option to buyout of your volunteer commitment for a fee of $750 ($1000 for families with 2 or more players).
