Registration closes on Feb. 1, 2018.

Step 1: Register for the Season

The first step in participating in the Quito Little League 2018 spring baseball season is completing the online registration process. With the objective of placing your child in the appropriate division, Quito has modified the registration process from being defined by division to being defined by your child's age as of Sep. 1. Fees are also defined by your child's birth date.

A late Fee of $50.00 will be assessed for those players that register after Dec. 31, 2017. Registration will close on Feb. 1, 2018.

Step 2: Verification Nights

Once the online registration is completed for each of your players, you must attend one of the verification nights. Verification Nights are scheduled to be held in the Rolling Hills Middle School multi-purpose room (1585 More Ave., Los Gatos) on the following days:

  • Tue., Dec. 5, 2017 from 6:30-9 p.m.
  • Thu., Dec. 14, 2017 from 6:30-9 p.m.

What to Bring to Verification

At the Verification Night, you will be asked to provide the following:

Step 3: Tryouts

The next step in preparing for the Quito Little League 2018 Spring Season is tryouts. Players aged 7 or older will be asked to attend a tryout, with the objective of ensuring that children are placed at the appropriate level and to ensure equal placement of skillset across the various teams. Tryouts will take place on Sun., Jan. 7, 2018 (7- through 10-year-olds),  Sat., Jan. 13, 2018 (7- through 10-year-olds) and Sun., Jan. 21, 2018 (11- through 12-year-olds). Your tryout time will be verified during live registration.

You will be notified regarding your team placement in early February 2018. Practices and volunteer trainings will run through the month of February, with Opening Day scheduled for Sat., March 3, 2018.

Additional League Information

Time Commitment by Division

With respect to time commitment, mini-t teams consolidate their practice and game on Saturdays. T-ball teams generally have one practice during the week, and a game on Saturday. For subsequent levels, the frequency of practices and games increase with each division. Challenger division will have warm-up and game on Sundays.

Volunteer Requirement

Quito Little League is a 100% volunteer based organization. Our wonderful community is what it is because of all those who volunteer their time to develop our league and your children. Each family registered with Quito Little League acknowledges that they will contribute their time to help both their individual teams, as well as the League. During the registration process, you will be given the opportunity to select how you would like to contribute your time. If you are unable to do so, you may select the option to buyout of your volunteer commitment for a fee of $750 ($1000 for families with 2 or more players).
